The organization of the work has been organized in seven different chapters.
CHAPTER ONE : this is a chapter that highlights the structure in chapter one which includes: statement of the problem, purpose of the study, aims and objectives, scoped delimitations, limitation/constraints, assumptions and definitions and definition of terms etc.
CHATPER TWO: It indicates eh review of related literature. It identities the problems in existing system and contribution made to improve it.
CHAPTER THREE: It indicates the description and analysis so the existing system which include the fact finding method/methodology, organizational/organigram, objectives of existing system, input, process, and output analysis, information flow diagram, problems of the existing system and justification for the new system.
CHAPTER FOUR: It deals on the design of the new system. It consists of design standards, output specification and design input specification design, file design, procedure chart, system flowchart and system requirements.
CHAPTER FIVE: It describes the programming phase and objectives, what the new system must input so that it can economically and reliably perform its designated tasks. It includes implementations, design standard, program design, program flow chart, pseudo code, coding, test data/test run, user training and cutover process.
CHAPTER SIX: It describes the overall achievement of the project and other things that has to be implement of the project and other things that has to be implemented in enhancing the growth of the new system. It includes the documentation.
CHAPTER SEVEN: It is made up of recommendation, summary and conclusion of the work. So it is assumed that the proposed system for the investment appraisal system of commercial bank so Diamond bank plc is implemented.

Even during the activities in our daily activities which computer is rapidly taking over the activities all the sphere of life. The use of computer have become the method of people use to access and provide information and communication with other world through several means like E-mailing, Broadband satellite, we can and internet calls etc.
Banks and bankers have also become a part of our society which their activities are addition to other segments of their operations which include the provision of facilities for domestic and foreign investments or investors. They established cash station for hand-to-hand transactions, remote cash withdrawal like (ATM), receiving cheques, provision for keeping valuables and various obligation to their customs. In keeping with their operational capacity, they create chance for surplus funds to be gainfully are effectively utilized. Deposit and transferred inform of loans and advances which extend their investment arm in all forms of governments, private and co-operate securities.
The commercial bank is among the areas or sectors of our economy that have been most affected by computer in the banking industry in computerized societies is automated teller machine (ATM) which involves the use o computer to deposit /withdraw of fund. It is allow the transfer of fund and payment of purchased.
The process of performance investment appraisal system is the continuous evaluation of the contribution of individuals and groups within the organization, governments and diamond bank plc.
This research work has the mandate to discuss or design and implementation of investment work has the mandate to discuss or design and implementation of investment appraisal system in diamond bank plc and the key operations which will evaluate their investment appraisal system. The techniques used to computerized and appraisal system in their operation in commercial bank in Nigeria which results important barriers such as lack of expertise in investment appraisal system and insufficient resources to support appraisal system to regulate the commercial bank operations.

In this period of economic recession, it is being speculated in some area that commercial banks have not hired up to expectation with regards to their lending operation, appraisal system and their protocol investment activities as a result of general problem with transaction processing in modern banks.

1.5 SCOPE /DELIMITATION
In writing this project, the researcher was contrained by the branch banking system in Nigeria whereby useful information can only be obtained from the head office of a commercial bank in Enugu State (Diamond bank plc) have their head offices outside the state. They exhibited a high level of secrecy and maintained the most reliable information needed as regards to investments appraisal system confidential.
In view of the poor state of the nations, economy and high cost of transportation with regards to travely out for information, stationeries, coupled with high cost of lving because of the vastness of the general banking operations. The researcher limits his work to examine the investment appraisal system and lending operation in commercial banks. This however provide an extensive study in this topic.
1.6 LIMITATION /CONSTRAINTS
The design and use of computerized system for the investment appraisal system function posed a lot of challenges.
A lot of limitations were encountered are:
i. Insufficient local interature and resources
ii. Limited time in gathering of facts and findings
iii. Inadequate funds
iv. Lack of enough literature on computerized investment
appraisal system in commercial banks.
We assume that the investment appraisal system used in diamond bank plc have similar banking operations and professional experiences with their counterparts elsewhere and data collected from them are reliable and have global acceptability.
However, some assumption were made to achieved the success of this research work such as:
i. The new system will be designed only those in commercial
bank industry in diamond bank plc.
ii. It was also assumed that the bankers in diamond bank plc
would be disposed to go for the computerized investment
appraisal system.
iii. The assumption was made that the system could be used
to allow for proper updating.
iv. The assumption was also made that the system could be
used to handle all investment appraisal system in
commercial banks.
v. The user’s guide provide in diamond bank plc must be
computer literate.
