This project work focused on the design and implementation of a system for processing student’s ID – card. The study investigates the ID –Card processing export system as a tool for revolutionized computer profession. It concentrates on how improved representation of processing knowledge and problems solving strategies have advanced the field of artificial intelligence in computer. The system generally involve mainly the manual process and it was dispensed under the following process: when students visits the processing department for the purpose of ID – Card there personal data are endured in the record and they will be asked to leave and back in some day or weeks to collect their processed ID-Card. The researcher investigate the manual system in detail with the view of finding out the need to automate it. Happily, the finally result of the processing export system was it’s ability to produce on – the- spot or wait and take processed Id-card by processing the input data and provide summary of the ID-Card process for a particular student.
ORGANIZATION OF WORK
This work is organized in such a way that the reader can easily understand it. The chapter one of it is based on the introduction, the statement of the problem the purpose of the study, the aim and objectives of the study.
Chapter two in concerned with the literature review.
Chapter three discuss about the description and analysis of the existing system.
Chapter four talks about the design of the new system.
Chapter fife is about the implementation of the new system that has been designed. Chapter six is documentation while chapter seven which is the last chapter discuses about the conclusion, recommendation and references.

INTRODUCTION
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
In examination of the main processing techniques used in ID-Card processing system from the stage of data processing system to end stage of the processed ID-card a number of problem area are made know, which are as follows.
It has been noted that for students to of management and technology (IMT) Enugu, they queue up for several hours from one unit of the processing center to the another with the manual processed involved in handling the students ID-Card process, most of them waste the whole day in the processing center without getting their ID-Cards. So students do waste a lot of time in taking information and retrieving the student’s records.
AIM OF THE STUDY
In looking at the already mentioned problems that is nationally parts of the conventional system, the aim of the study is to provide the description ID-Card processing system for student’s information with users who has had a little communication with computer sciences.
The purpose of this study is not to replace record employees, but to assist them to increase in the processing work. This will go further completely to remove invalid processing of ID-Card which can be implication tot eh students, consequently, this will help the user to overcome stress and constancy of being overworked. The users and records employees in IMT Enugu and other private and government owned schools on how best a computerized ID-Card processing system could help for optimum services to the public.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
This project will be tested based on the following aims and objectives
a. To examine the recent procedures employed in IMT Enugu with regards to ID-Card processing.
b. To design a system with the capability of providing a wait – and – take processed ID-Card.
c. To design as ID-Card processing system that ensure timely processing
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
As a result of the difficulties of development of an ID-Card processing system for ID badge system, smart print, start, smarter system etc. This research has been limited to student’s ID-Card processing.

LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
Due to time contracts and the cost of going to different libraries, browsing Contreras and also going to the IMT Enugu ID-Card processing department for fact finding and more also the non-availability of enough ID-Card processing materials restricted the seals this study would have gone to.
SUGGESTIONS
My suggestion is that this project will design and stimulate base on the following suggestions.
1. That the new system will have the ability to provide wait and take processing ID-Card.
2. That the project will design a new system that will improve on the already existing system in terms of efficiency, security and reliability.
3. That the project will ensure timely processing.
