ABSTRACT
Personnel appraisal performance/evaluation is the process through which staff of an organization are accessed annually to determine their continued relevance or otherwise to their organization, in this case, personnel development this system is concerned primarily with the basis function of giving special advise to the management, recruitment, training and development benefit and welfare, the achievement of personnel poplicies and procedures. Computerized system posses high speed of processing, its versatility and high retrieval system makes possible completion of tasks that cannot achieved by manual system because of difficulty in computing them on time. Therefore, this project is meant to understand the personnel appraisal system the feasibility study of existing system and the implement of those system manually with its inherent problems consequently develop a new system basically computerized system that will solve the problem using visual basic. The problem researcher enounced in the course of study is to get information from my case study was not easy for me due to the systems there are using but I later get the information needed.
ORGANIZATION OF WORK
The project work is made up of the title page, the Approval page, Certification, dedication, Acknowledgement, the Abstract, the Organization of work and table of contents. It is also divided into chapters which are subdivided into statement of the problem, aims and objectives, purpose of study, significance of the study, scope, limitation, assumption of study, definition of terms.
Chapter two is made up of literature review of the study, chapter three is made up of the description and analysis of the existing system, fact finding method, organizational structure, objective of the existing system, input, process and output analysis input analysis, process analysis, out analysis, information flow diagram problems of the for new system.
Chapter four is made up of the design of a new system, design standard, output specification and design, file design, procedure chart, system flow chart, system requirements, hardware requirements, software requirements, operational requirement personnel requirements.
Chapter five is made up of the implementation of the study, design standard, program design, program flow chart, pseudocode, coding, test data or test run, user training an over view, cutover process
Chapter six is made up of documentation of study, program documentation, and user documentation
Chapter seven is made up of recommendation summary and conclusion.
