Its for this reason that this report is written for the benefit of those who are privilege to design and construct their own deep freezer for used. This report is base on ordinary and advanced level research, in order to aid easy reading and understood for an average person. CHAPTER ONE
A mobile deep freezer is not a different deep freezer than a refrigeration that is portable u it can be moved from one place to another with little application of force.
Generally, mechanical refrigeration has to do with the production and control of temperature lower than atmospheric. Thus refrigeration is the process of removing heat at a lower temperature level and rejecting it at a relatively higher temperature.
By its nature heat flow from a body at a higher temperature to another at a lower temperature but the reverse case, it required external energy to be accomplished. The carrier substance used to carry heat is called a refrigerant.
The refrigeration is accomplished by various methods such as the vapour compression system, absorption system and steam jet refrigeration cycle. In this project only vapour compression system of refrigeration shall be discussed as it is the method adopted to accomplish the refrigeration refrigeration contributes to the raising of living standards of people of all classes and land. Although refrigeration is primary of thermodynamics but the advances made in refrigeration in recent years are the result of a team approach in which technicians, craft persons, engineers, scientists and other from phases of engineering pool skill and knowledge in the design, manufacture application and operation of the refrigeration. Complete knowledge of thermodynamics and properties of refrigerants must be known before the complete cycle analysis can be made.
The application of the refrigeration principle is limitless. The most common used and one htat is readily recognized is the preservation of food. Almost all products in the home on farm, I the business, in industries or in the laboratories are in some ways affected by refrigeration. Thus refrigeration has become an essential commodity in modern living as no family will afford to miss it.
The application of the refrigeration could also be extended to other areas for apart from food, it answer medical needs for blood banks for antibiotic, for making ice for compresses and low temperature surgery and for preserving certain tissues that pathologists work on.
1.1 WHAT PROMPTED THE PROJECT
We deicide to embark on this project because of the deplorable situation we have noticed with some of our refrigeration system and the problem of where to preserve food in the department of the need arise, that we have produce and present this mobile deep freezer for use in the department for those who may wish to preserved their foods while at school before taking their home for consumption to avoid being spoil.

The objectives and purpose of this project is to achieve the following VIZ:

The importance attached to this design is the accomplishment of a fast freezing system without adverse effects on the food tissues, the flavours, freshness and nutrients of food materials. The design intention is based on reduced weight and cost, longer life span, fast freezing techniques, compactness, portability and more so to improve on existing design taking into consideration the Nigeria facto and possibility of expanding and marketability.
1.4 BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT
Food stuffs can then be preserved with the deep freezer for a very longtime to avoid being spoil before usage.
The design and fabrication of the mobile deep freezer has broaden our practical knowledge and we can be scifrelical if one may decide to go into production in the near future and acts as a consultant. We can equally work efficiently without or with little guidance.
