The advent of computer technology has greatly revolutionalized information flow to cope with the increasing information requirement in our society today.
In this study, the review of relevant literature showed the information dissemination and the problems militating againts a well harness computer entwork in Nigeria. Low level of computer literacy is one of the hurdle against a well harnessed computer connection in Nigeria. All the hypothesis tested on the importance of computer technology on information flow in Nigeria. All the hypotheses tested on the importance of computer technology on information flow in Nigeria received tremendous support, it was also uncovered that computer plays a complimentory role and co –existing along side with other traditional media of communication.
The study showed greatly that mastery of computer level langusge and skills will enhance good computer network in Nigeria. The fact also emerged in this work that information technology induced the changes withnessed in the world today.
The introduction of the computer has completely revolutionalised information requirements. The invention of telephone, telegraph, radio and television set the stage for this unpredented intergration of capabilities.
The computer has the remarkable ability to communicate with anybody else at the same time, in virtually any placellia statellite system we can communicate from a car in Enugu state to ship sailing in the south pacific ocean.
Anyone who has not yet heard of the term information super highway must be living in a different plannet. The term is a several different technologies such as the telephone, statellite, computer networks and multimedia together with an appropriate set of software and hardware facilities and a large number of information provides and bulletin board systems.

From the result, it was made to understand that computer plays complementry role to the mass media of communication and has enhanced their performance. This study also disclosed that inadequate computer literates, constant power failure, political and economical factors are some of the problems hindering full computer connections in Nigeria.
